LHH are pleased to collaborate with a reputable accountancy firm in Bristol that has a strong reputation throughout the Southwest, with several offices in surrounding areas.

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their expanding team. In this position, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial statement preparation and providing valuable financial insights.

Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and submissions.
  • Preparing and submitting year-end accounts, Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns, and Confirmation Statements with precision and efficiency.
  • Developing strong relationships with both new and existing clients, while managing client payroll on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Setting and managing client expectations by arranging closing meetings to finalise accounts.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Applying your expertise in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to streamline processes and improve client experiences.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA qualification or part qualified.
  • Able to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Skilled in Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Consistently meets deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
