Job Purpose
  • Provide high level oversight of a busy audit function, ensuring effective communication on all aspects of audit compliance across the firm
  • Review hot and cold audit and assurance files
  • Identify new audit guidance and processes in line with the ever-evolving auditing standards, emerging trends, relevant issues, and review findings
  • Manage relationships with external audit reviewers
  • Lead liaison with the ICAEW on audit compliance matters, including managing regulatory visits and implementing recommendations
  • Monitor audit training needs and champion professional development and skill sharing across the firm
  • Plan and perform on-site audit due diligence visits and following up on post-completion file reviews
  • Set an example as a hands-on Director
