Role Responsibilities- Managing and executing all aspects of audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and completion
- Reporting directly to Director level and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
- Working with a variety of clients, from smaller businesses to £40m turnover companies
- Maintaining and developing strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
- Completing non-audit assignments, such as financial statement preparation
- Participating in ad-hoc projects including management accounting, corporate finance, and due diligence work
- Supporting the development of non-audit assurance services to expand the business offering
- Assisting with internal compliance reviews and improving audit quality and efficiency

Candidate Requirements- ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified with significant audit experience
- At least 2-3 years of experience in audit, preferably within a range of industries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Experience with industry-specific accounting practices and treatments is desirable
- Knowledge of VAT reporting, management accounting, and corporation tax is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- A proactive and self-motivated individual with strong organisational skills
