The Role
We are seeking a Compliance Auditor with expertise in passive fire safety. The role involves overseeing and signing off on fire door installations, maintenance, and fire-stopping work, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Youll work on a range of sites across the UK, supported by our operational bases in Wales, Bury St Edmunds, Swindon, and Cheltenham.

This hybrid position allows flexibility to work from home, combined with regular office-based and site work subject to each individual site. Travel and occasional overnight stays are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed audits on fire door installations, maintenance, and fire-stopping works.
  • Ensure all projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide clear, concise reports and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Directors and project teams to drive improvements and resolve non-conformities.

Essential Requirements

  • Background in passive fire safety, including Fire Doors, Fire Door Maintenance & Fire Stopping.
  • Clean DBS and ability to obtain security clearance via DBS Check & Filling out Necessary Security Forms.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
  • CSCS card and asbestos awareness certification.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
