This is a fantastic opportunity to join on of the South West's most forward thinking and growing businesses in their field.Our client is a leading company based in Bristol, seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their finance team. If you're passionate about numbers, financial reporting, and want to contribute to the success of a growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, statutory accounts and the consolidation of accounts.* Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.* Reconcile balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and other financial documents.* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial information is accurate.* Oversee audits and work closely with external auditors.* Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.* Stay up to date with financial regulations and compliance.Qualifications and Skills:* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.* Proven experience in a financial accounting role.* Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.* Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.* Will consider candidates straight out of practice looking for their next move into commerce and industry.
