Description
- Develop and implement effective accounting policies and processes
- Ensure full compliance with all statutory and relevant regulatory requirements
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports
- Collaborate with the finance team to achieve departmental objectives
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budget variance analysis
- Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Professional accounting qualification ACA, CIMA, ACCA
- Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit industry
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
