We are seeking a Financial Accountant adept at developing and implementing accounting policies. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and produce timely and accurate financial reports.

Description

  • Develop and implement effective accounting policies and processes
  • Ensure full compliance with all statutory and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports
  • Collaborate with the finance team to achieve departmental objectives
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budget variance analysis
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Professional accounting qualification ACA, CIMA, ACCA
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit industry
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
