Robert Half are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Financial Controller to lead and oversee financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory activities. This role involves assisting with statutory, management, and regulatory reporting, as well as overseeing all financial controls. You will work closely with the senior finance team to deliver financial management information (MI), ensure accurate VAT returns, and review accounting inputs from various teams.

Duration: 12 Month FTC
Salary: £65,000
Location: Central Bristol
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing financial controls
- Assist with statutory, management, and regulatory reporting.
- Deliver financial management information (MI) with senior finance team.
- Prepare quarterly Group VAT returns and ensure compliance.
- Review financial reports and outputs from various finance teams.
- Prepare reports for debt providers and company owners.
- Contribute to financial modelling for regulatory reports.
- Coordinate external and internal audit activities.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Key Skills and Experience:
- ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
- Strong technical accounting and regulatory knowledge
- Excellent financial system skills and high attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and coach junior finance team members
- Solutions-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
