  • We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller for our established company located near Bristol.
  • The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and offers a competitive salary of £60,000 to £70,000 per annum.

  • Key responsibilities include overseeing payroll, cash projection management, and maintaining accurate costings while managing a small finance team.
  • Candidates should ideally hold a CIMA or ACCA qualification and have experience in a manufacturing environment.

We are looking to recruit for an experienced Financial Controller for our established company based near Bristol. The role will report into the finance director and support the Senior Management team for operational performance.

The role:

  • Provide accurate financial reporting and analytical information for the business.
  • Compiling budgets and forecasts for the MD
  • Manage a small team of staff.
  • Deliver and maintain weekly monthly KPI and scorecards across all depts.
  • Maintain accurate costings and ensure all price increases/reductions are captured and systems kept updated to reflect true product cost.
  • Effectively manage, evaluate, and negotiate external relationships with auditors,
  • Oversee weekly and monthly payroll.
  • Take responsibility for cash projection management, debtors.
  • Monitor team performance and identify training needs.
  • Oversee, direct, and organise the work of the finance team.

Skills

  • Ideally CIMA/ACCA qualification.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • IT knowledge with capabilities to introduce new systems, as required.
  • Flexible to change and reactive when needs to be.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Applicants must be eligible to reside and work in the UK.
  • Strong organisational and people management skills.
