This role will be responsible for successful delivery of the inter-company data cleanse project. This is suited to someone with prior inter-company experience and that has the ability to handle large volumes of data.

Description

The key responsibilities:

  • This role will ensure inter-company aged data is successfully cleansed across all markets within AP, AR and General Ledgers aligned to inter-company policy regarding aged items
  • Provide oversight through robust governance and reporting to ensure clear visibility of the status of data cleanse, timely and appropriate escalations where needed.
  • Day-to-day direction of project resources completing legacy data analysis
  • Develop and agree "rules" for analysis and allocation of transactions
  • Setup and facilitate working group with representatives from Tax, Group Finance and Treasury to ensure correct oversight
  • Develop reporting structure to track and report progress
  • Support technology solution development where feasible to increase efficiency of analysis
  • Liaise with colleagues from various different business units to ensure all initiatives are reported and delivered successfully
  • Ensure any perceived complexities, issues or existing exceptions escalated promptly
  • Lead Governance calls and manage senior stakeholder progress reports

Profile

The successful candidate will possess the below skillset:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
  • Previous experience of analysing large data volumes within reconciliation activities
  • Detailed understanding of inter-company processes
  • Delivery focused with a proven track record of project delivery to time and quality requirements
  • Strong, clear and concise communication skills with the confidence to present and challenge senior stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly cut through complex landscapes and drive focus on solutions within large groups
  • Excellent IT skills including advanced Excel, and proficient Powerpoint
  • Ability to work proactively and autonomously
  • Must have strong analytical experience
  • The ability to encourage effective team building, and to manage and influence multinational, cross functional and cross organisational teams in a project environment

Job Offer

An immediate start is available and this will be a day rate that is dependent on experience. This is hybrid working in Bristol with an expectation of 3 days a fortnight on-site.
