This project is to address a large backlog of lease data from property lease agreements and updating into the custom IFRS16 accounting software. The role is primarily to assist the Project Team Leader in extracting property lease data from a large amount of property lease agreements, cross-checking amounts against actual invoices/payments and lease control a/c entries over multiple years and scheduling the data for upload into the accounting software.

Description
The key responsibilities within this role:
- Index linked rental clauses - including calculation of annual inflation uplifts with reference to CPI indices in various territories.
- Lease extensions and renewals - determining extension/renewal terms after expiry of initial contractual rental periods.
- Other ad hoc workstreams clearing backlogs of lease data within the IFRS16 project's scope.
Profile
The successful candidate for these positions will possess:
Essential* Accounting qualification (min 3 Yrs PQE) or similar relevant expertise* Ability to interpret, manage and manipulate data* Good Excel skills* Attention to detail* Efficient and disciplined approach to working through detailed clauses in a large volume of documents* Practical approach to problem solving and obtaining information from other stakeholders in an organisation
Desirable* IFRS 16 accounting experience* Experience of reading property and other lease contract documentation and identifying relevant clauses and data for IFRS16 accounting purposes.
Job Offer
These positions will pay an extremely competitive day rate INSIDE IR35 (depending on experience and knowledge of IFRS 16) and an immediate start is available. These positions are for an initial 3 months and mainly homeworking although an occasional day in the office may be required.
