Management Accountant

Citadel Source are partnering exclusively alongside well-established growing SME in North Somerset to appoint an Management Accountant. This role is a permanent, office-based opportunity.

About you

You will have relevant accounting qualifications and experience working in a similar role. You will have an excellent knowledge of accounting principles and a good understanding of financial processes as well as a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving attitude is essential for this role. You will be a CIMA/ACCA studier, with strong Excel skills and ideally working knowledge of Sage.

The role

As an Assistant Management Accountant, your role will include but not limited to:

• Analysing a range of data internally, identifying trends and solving perceived problems or issues.
• Providing viable and useable MI in a range of formats (depending on end user) to support business cases, projects and decision making.
• Proactively seeking out opportunities to add value and challenge business perception, not allowing 'it’s what we have always done’ to be an acceptable answer.
• Identifying ways to simplify and improve flow of information within finance and from finance to the wider business, improving efficiency of insight and decision making.
• Seeking out chances to collaborate and share material with your colleagues, ensuring that relevant information is always up to date, live and accessible.
• Being able to pivot and pick up new projects and prioritise workload.
• Building and developing relationships internally to eliminate bottlenecks

What the client has to offer

• A salary level of £35,000 to £45,000
