  • Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst for a Fixed Term Contract until the end of March 2026, located in Bristol with a hybrid work option.
  • The role focuses on supporting payroll and timekeeping activities across various countries in Europe, particularly the UK.
  • Candidates must have over 5 years of relevant experience in an international payroll environment and proficiency in Excel, with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • The hourly rate for this position will be discussed during the application process and is classified as inside IR35.
  • Successful applicants must also be able to obtain BPSS security clearance and demonstrate strong communication skills in English.

Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Analyst to join them on a Fixed Term Contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation and you will represent Payroll and Timekeeping and support payroll related activities for different country payrolls in Europe (high focus will be on UK payroll).

Role: Payroll Analyst
Contract Position: End of March 2026
Location: Bristol (hybrid)
Shifts: Days Mon-Fri Full-Time
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a BPSS clearance
Hourly Rate: Discussed on Application

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the Payroll provider and other company organizations to ensure correct information is provided for their use in calculating pay.
  • Validates complex payroll data received from Payroll provider to ensure quality and timely output for employees.
  • Prepares complex payroll and timekeeping management reports.
  • Analyses and helps interpret sophisticated, policies, and payroll per in country regulatory requirements.
  • Oversees payroll and timekeeping implementations at new business locations.
  • Supports cross-functional teams to enhance existing payroll and timekeeping processes and tools.
  • Addresses employee inquiries.
  • Ensures system compliance by improving internal controls, guidelines to regulatory requirements.
  • Teams with other company organizations (e.g. Human Resources, Compensation and Benefits, Business Support Managers in region) to address and support cross - organizational payroll process.
  • Serves as organizational point of contact for special projects.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in International payroll environment (including UK payroll experience).
  • Strong written and oral communications in English.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience working with Workday and different timekeeping tools.
  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
