Robert Half are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Finance Business Partner to take charge of the financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis functions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) concepts, advanced financial modelling skills, and experience in developing indirect rates. This role requires an independent, forward-thinking individual who can provide strategic insights to senior management through robust financial analysis and forecasting, helping drive key business decisions.

Rate: Up to £400pd Umbrella

Duration: 3 - 6 Months

Hybrid - 3 days on-site

Start - Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Business Unit financial reporting, ensuring accuracy for routine and ad hoc requirements.
  • Manage monthly short-term forecasts (STF) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) forecasts, with detailed support schedules.
  • Develop and analyse indirect rate models, providing variance analysis and forecasting insights.
  • Deliver independent financial assessments to Business Unit management, comparing forecasts to targets.
  • Prepare variance analysis of actual vs. forecast performance, identifying key trends in orders, sales, costs, and cash flow.
  • Develop financial models, tools, and dashboards to improve efficiency and performance reporting.
