Role Responsibilities
  • Producing statutory accounts, consolidated accounts, tax computations, VAT returns, and payroll
  • Providing expert advice to clients regarding UK companies and partnerships
  • Offering technical guidance and support to junior members of the accounting team
  • Keeping up to date with changing accounting regulations and ensuring clients understand the impact
  • Preparing and presenting management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cashflows
  • Assisting in process improvement and documenting working processes to maintain quality standards
  • Implementing new accounting systems and training client staff
  • Engaging in business development activities and networking to generate new business opportunities

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA part-qualified or equivalent with relevant UK practice experience
  • At least three years’ experience in an accountancy practice
  • Experience producing a complete set of accounts, as well as personal and corporate tax computations
  • Knowledge of VAT and CIS regulations
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to support and mentor junior team members
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple client workloads and ensure deadlines are met
