You’ll work closely with the Executive and Senior Management Team, influencing decisions and driving performance across your area.

The key duties of this Senior Finance Business Partner (Development) are as follows:

  • Act as the primary financial advisor to senior leadership for your area of responsibility, offering proactive, insightful guidance on regional strategies, project risks, and performance improvements.
  • Oversee financial appraisals and modelling for development projects, evaluating deal structures, tax implications, and return measures.
  • Deliver insightful reporting and analysis on development activities, driving financial performance, managing risks, and partnering with sales teams to achieve budgets and forecasts.
  • Lead budget creation, cash flow forecasting, and investment planning for your portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and accuracy for multi-year capex and sales forecasts.
  • Enhance financial models, systems, and data quality, providing training and guidance to ensure robust and efficient development finance processes.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Fully qualified as an Accountant.
  • Proven experience in commercial financial advice, financial modelling, and strategic decision support.
  • In-depth understanding of development finance and experience of accounting for a high-volume of development schemes at scale.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and strategic influencing skills.
  • Advanced analytical and financial acumen with strong Excel modelling expertise.
