Responsibilities:
- Lead the accurate and timely completion of month-end reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee budgeting activities in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews to assess financial health and identify optimization areas.
- Drive comprehensive and insightful financial disclosures for various business units.
- Execute control testing, review group requirements, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Manage audit reports and implement internal auditor recommendations.
- Conduct thorough assessments related to IFRS 15 compliance, maintaining accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Provide guidance on technical accounting queries for accurate financial reporting.
- Adaptability to handle additional tasks in a dynamic business environment.
- Offer comprehensive support to Business Units, including month-end flash reports, working capital analysis, budgeting, rolling re-forecasts, and strategic plan reports/presentations.
- Manage risk reporting submissions, aligning risk register outputs with control improvement plans.
- Act as a key interface supporting sector projects for the transition to finance business services.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Ideally big 4 experience but will consider Top 10
- Strong knowledge of IFRS 15
- Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and deadlines.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
