Join our team as a Tax Consultant and leverage your expertise in tax law, accounting principles, and financial regulations to provide top-notch tax advisory services. This role is perfect for someone who is adept at developing tax strategies to minimise liabilities and optimise financial efficiency for our clients. You will be deeply involved in managing HMRC investigations, business incorporations, and much more, ensuring compliance and strategic tax planning.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage ongoing HMRC investigations, including IR35 cases.
  • Assist with business incorporations, mainly focusing on property partnership incorporations.
  • Conduct Capital Gains calculations and provide EMI scheme advice & setup, including the annual submission of EMI400.
  • Handle company restructures, including share transfers and share-for-share exchanges, along with other company secretarial related tasks.
  • Oversee mergers and de-mergers, and HT planning involving the advice & setup of Trusts.
  • Seek HMRC clearance on various tax matters and provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services for clients.
  • Conduct tax research and stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to inform business decisions and transactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax compliance and alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Communicate complex tax concepts clearly and effectively to clients and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Good working knowledge of personal tax, corporate tax, and trusts.
  • Proactive in managing existing client relationships and developing new ones.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to plan and organise workload independently and effectively.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software.
  • Qualified or part-qualified in ATT/CTA/ACCA/ACA/AAT.
