Role Responsibilities- Preparing personal tax returns for a wide range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, company directors, and individuals with rental income
- Completing capital gains tax computations for self-assessment returns and preparing 60-Day CGT declarations for HMRC
- Preparing P11D and P11D(b) forms
- Liaising with clients, Partners, and HMRC to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of tax compliance services
- Assisting with ad-hoc tax projects and providing support to the wider tax team
- Maintaining and updating client databases, ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date
- Supporting junior staff members and ensuring a high standard of work is maintained across the team

Candidate Requirements- At least 2 years of personal taxation experience, ideally within an accountancy practice
- AAT or ATT qualified (or currently studying)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with CCH accountancy software is advantageous
- Excellent organisation skills and a detail-oriented approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly
- A team player who is confident working independently when required
- GCSE Level 7 or above in English and Mathematics is desirable
- £28,000 to £38,000 per annum
