This is an exciting role with a competitive salary with a UK Top 20 firm of accountants that was founded over 100 years ago but offers a modern approach to its loyal clients. It’s no surprise that we anticipate a high level of interest.

What are we looking for? You’ll be ATT, CTA, ACCA, or CA qualified with tax experience within practice. You will be technically strong and have some tax advisory and planning experience.

You’ll be a supportive team member for junior staff, helping their professional development through reviewing work and knowledge sharing. As a confident communicator, you’ll ideally be commercially aware and comfortable to represent the firm during networking opportunities.

Job Purpose
  • Supporting a team of tax accountants at an established and growing firm of accountants.
  • Working closely with Managers to support a portfolio of corporate and personal clients in a wide variety of tax specific areas.
  • Reviewing and preparing corporation tax computations and workings.
  • Personal trust work.
  • Capital gains tax.
  • P11ds.
  • Supporting advisory work with clients.
  • Assisting on various tax due diligence exercises.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure clients are benefitting from all business services.
  • Providing training for junior colleagues.
  • Identifying opportunities to introduce and cross-sell company services to the tax portfolio.
  • Championing your own professional development with an eagerness to progress.
