Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently recruiting for an Interim Accounts Assistant to join a Professional Services business based in central Bristol on a Fixed Term Contract basis for a period of 6 months.

Role: Accounts Assistant

Salary: £30,000

Duration: 6 months

Start date: ASAP

Working pattern: 37.5 hour working week

Hybrid split: 2 in office, 3 home per week

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the accounts payable ledger
  • Responsible for Credit Control - Outstanding balances, statements, reconciliation of cash receipts
  • Communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Resolving queries
  • Assisting with ad hoc tasks to help the wider team including projects or analysis

Skills/Experience needed:

  • Previous experience in both accounts payable & credit control
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication - The ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to manage workload
  • Pro-active in approach to work as well as working as part of a team
  • Computer literate - Including Excel: VLOOKUP & Pivot tables
