Reed Accountancy are seeking a proactive and organised Accounts Assistant to join a well-established accounts team in East Bristol. This role involves a wide range of accounting tasks, supporting various departments and managing multiple aspects of the company’s financial operations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage invoice distribution, coding, batching, and keying, and follow up on supplier queries.
  • Support with payroll processes
  • Oversee the Accounts mailbox, including printing invoices, responding to and dealing with queries.
  • Manage the Trade Point account, including invoice matching, statement reconciliation, and handling payments.
  • Handle petty cash receipts and reconcile month-end accounts.
  • Reconcile monthly statements and handle the monthly payment process (BACS runs).
  • Manage VAT invoices for Pro-forma invoices and submit CIS Returns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in payroll processing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAGE Accounts, and other relevant software.
  • Experience in handling financial documents and understanding accounting processes.
