About the Role:We are thrilled to present an excellent opportunity with one of our prestigious clients. They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their Management Team at their Bristol office. This role is perfect for an experienced Office Administrator with a proactive approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities:In this role, you will provide vital support to the Management Team and contribute to the smooth operation of administrative and financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with aged debt recovery and control processes.
- Managing and maintaining secure storage and retrieval of files, documents, deeds, and records.
- Providing cover for reception duties, including telephone handling, scheduling appointments, and welcoming clients and visitors.
- Supporting the Accounts Manager with purchase, sales, and nominal ledger transactions.
- Handling client ledger transactions, such as posting bills, applying receipts, and transferring funds.
- Running, distributing, and filing financial management reports.
- Supporting the file opening process and maintaining accurate document registers.
- Placing orders, checking deliveries, and coordinating office supplies.
- Assisting with post handling, general administrative tasks, and file organisation.
- Supporting routine matters within the Management Team and liaising with clients, third parties, and solicitors.
Essential Skills and Experience:Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Education: GCSE-level qualifications or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and strong keyboard skills.
