Our Client is recruiting for a Assistant Accountant to join their business on a permanent basis. This person will be responsible for conducting the accounts up to trial balance.

Our client is an organisation which is based internationally who are now starting up within the Bristol market. This business have a growing revenue stream where the UK is its biggest export. The organisation have large growth plans and are looking to develop a successful team which together can manage the UK business effectively.

Description

As an Assistant Accountant you will have the following roles and responsibilities to adhere to:

  • Make payments and manage all of the banking activities
  • To collaborate with all administrative sides of the business to ensure accuracy
  • To record daily incoming and outgoing bank transactions
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • To forsee petty cash expenses per employee and report balances
  • To make the necessary checks by taking the trial balances of debit and credit accounts at the end of the month, to follow up with debts and receivables and ensure reconciliations
  • To support accounts payable, bank operations and financial statements
  • To manage the relations with the tax administration, various legal entities and outsourced providers

Profile

In order to be successful when applying for this role you will need the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience working within an Accounting role
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Broad knowledge of IFRS and general accounting
  • Experience in accounts payable and banking operations
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Experience using SAP
