I'm working with a highly regarded and forward-thinking law firm looking to hire two Conveyancing Assistants – one to join their Residential team and the other their New Homes team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a fast-paced legal team within a modern and well-resourced firm.
The role is essential in supporting fee earners with a wide range of conveyancing transactions. You’ll be responsible for managing administrative processes and post-completion work, ensuring files progress efficiently and clients receive excellent service throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support conveyancers and lawyers with administrative and case management duties
  • Prepare and amend legal documentation including client care letters
  • Handle post-completion tasks and follow-ups with clients, lenders, and other third parties
  • Monitor deadlines, manage incoming correspondence, and ensure tasks are completed promptly
  • Engage confidently with clients and internal stakeholders to progress matters smoothly

  • Previous experience in conveyancing or legal support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • A team-oriented approach and willingness to learn
  • Competent with IT systems and able to quickly adapt to new technologies
