The Accounts Assistant will provide critical support in the accounting and finance department of a reputable not-for-profit organisation, ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed. Your time will be spent on both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Description
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable.
- Processing invoices and reconciling bank transactions.
- Supporting the monthly payroll process.
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial reports.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry.
- Complying with financial policies and procedures.
- Supporting annual audit processes.
- Ad hoc financial duties as required.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A qualification in accounting or finance would help or Qualified by Experience
- Experience working with accounting softwares.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in work.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent numerical skills and the ability to work with complex financial data.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
