Your new roleHays are working with a firm in Central Bristol who are looking for a reconciliation assistant on a temporary basis for 2 months. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week. This role is hybrid working, 2-3 in the office. Pay for the role is £13.72 per hour. Duties include:

  • Ensuring all bank statements are obtained and loaded into the system
  • Investigating unmatched items and reporting breaches
  • Following up with various finance teams to ensure postings are taken promptly and accurately
  • Month end reporting of bank reconciliation figures
  • Dealing with opening and closing of bank accounts and ensuring the system is updated
  • Managing account payments by ensuring enough funds are available and client requirements are met
  • 3-way-match reconciliations

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working in a similar role is necessary.
  • Self-motivated, determined and confident in own abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
  • IT literate
