Walker and Sloan are once again working with a full serviced digital marketing agency in Bristol, as they are keen to bring on board a talented SEO Account Manager to the team on a full time basis.

The Role:

The SEO Account Manager is an experienced SEO delivery executive who not only enjoys driving results but also has a passion for working closely with their clients. Experience agency side or in-house, you have proven results for delivery, creating and implementing creative cross-channel strategies.

You will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for SEO-related queries and ensuring seamless communication, reporting, and billing. The role requires delivering exceptional SEO strategies, including technical optimisation, outreach, and reporting,while pro-actively identifying growth opportunities and driving client success. Utilising organic audiences to support paid campaigns, identifying email marketing opportunities, supporting CRO activity and website development. SEO is the core component of the role but you understand the importance of integrated digital campaigns to drive the best results.

Collaborating closely with internal teams across paid media, content, and web development, the SEO Account Manager will ensure integrated, data-driven campaigns that achieve measurable results. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical SEO expertise with excellent client-facing skills, contributing to the reputation for excellence in digital marketing.

SEO and Account Management Responsibilities:

  • Creating effective digital marketing strategies with your portfolio
  • Conduct effective teams & F2F meetings. Quarterly strategy meetings and a highly competent communicator who can control the flow and delivery of the agreed actions.
  • Delivery of on and off-page SEO, outreach and digital PR.
  • Managing client relationships, and acting as the main point of contact for SEO-related queries, issues, and strategic discussions.
  • Overseeing client communications, ensuring transparency, timely updates, and clear reporting on campaign performance.
  • Managing billing relationships, ensuring accurate invoicing and addressing any financial queries.
  • Identifying opportunities for account growth and cross-channel collaboration, working with other teams to deliver integrated marketing solutions.

SEO and Cross-Channel Experience Requirements:

  • At least 3-4 years working within SEO and digital account management either agency side or in-house.
  • Proficient in SEO tools such as Majestic, Ahrefs, Moz, SE Ranking, GoogleAnalytics, and Search Console.
  • Experience in outreach, link building, and technical SEO, including WordPress and HTML.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Tag Manager and Data Studio for reporting.
  • Solid understanding of On-Site and Off-Site SEO, with experience in content optimisation and authority building.
  • Knowledge of additional CMS platforms like Shopify, Magento, and Drupal is a plus.
  • Up-to-date on algorithm changes and emerging SEO trends.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams to deliver integrated strategies and measurable results

Client Relationship Management:

Managing and nurturing strong client relationships by understanding their goals, addressing their needs, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Acting as a key point of contact to field client issues, queries, and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Overseeing billing relationships, ensuring accuracy and transparency in client invoicing, and addressing any related queries.

Growth and Strategic Opportunities:

Pro-actively identifying opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts and collaborating withthe account management team to implement these strategies. Driving strategic discussions to enhance client performance, identifying areas for improvement across all digital marketing channels.

Cross-Channel Collaboration and Delivery:

Working closely with wider teams and departments, including paid media, content, and webdevelopment, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to client strategies. Facilitating collaboration between departments to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and deliver high-quality results that align with client objectives.

£38k-45k +OTE based on experience. 7.5% recurring commission on all additional revenues generated. Uncapped.
