Ground Investigation Supervisor

Location: Bristol

Pay Rate: £220 - £300 per day

We're looking for an experienced Ground Investigation Supervisor to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing ground investigation projects.
  • Ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Supervising field teams, coordinating site investigations, ensuring accurate data collection.
  • Ensure that investigation methods and techniques are appropriate and carried out to meet project specifications and objectives.

Health and Safety:

  • Promote and enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
  • Perform risk assessments and ensure the implementation of safe working practices.
  • Monitor and address potential hazards during site activities.

Project Coordination:

  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and project managers to ensure that investigations meet project deadlines and specifications.
  • Coordinate and manage logistics, including equipment, resources, and workforce allocation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree or equivalent in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS)

  • Experience in Ground Investigation, Geotechnical engineering, and Team leadership. 
  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., BS5930, Eurocode 7) and relevant Health and Safety regulations.
