A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Bristol Area!
With no day ever being the same the Design Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Testing prototypes ready to transfer into engineering/production
- Produce fully working prototypes and producing product and part spec drawings for transfer into production
- Create and manage CAD files ensuring all CAD data is robust and organised
- Writing assembly and packing instructions
- Planning and managing work load ensuring deadlines are met and time is correctly managed
- Creating new product development BOMs
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Solidworks
- 4 years experience in a design engineer position
- Strong ability to communicate through drawings, models, sculpts and 3D CAD
- Qualification in product design, industrial design or a design discipline
- Proven experience solving complex design and engineering drawings
