Experienced Design Engineers with 2D AutoCAD and 3D Inventor and/or SolidWorks skills are required. Candidates can be from a product or mechanical background. In this interesting and varied role, you will take products from initial concept phase through to deployment.
You will join a small collaborative team and will communicate with a global supply chain and user base.
The Design Engineer Role:
* Lead the design and development of new engineered products using 2D AutoCAD and 3D Inventor.
* Working from initial concept through to final deployment.
* Utilising advanced CAD modelling, physical prototyping and performance testing.
* Working across teams to collaborate with staff, a global supply chain and user base.
* Collaborating with internal teams and external business partners to deliver the best solutions.
The Design Engineer:
* Experienced Design Engineer with strong 2D AutoCAD and 3D Inventor / SolidWorks skills.
* A proven track record in helping to lead design projects from concept to completion.
* Product / Mechanical background.
* Will have taken a lead on designs and worked collaboratively with others to deliver complex technical information via reports and presentations.
