Design Engineer (Training into Water Treatment)

Bristol / Somerset - Commutable from Weston-Super-Mare, Bridgewater, Bristol, Glastonbury

30,000 - 40,000 + Bonus + Training + Progression and Development + Enhanced Holidays + Pension

Are you a design engineer with experience in AutoCAD or SolidWorks looking to train into the water / utilities industry - securing yourself a skillset within a futureproof sector?

My client offers bespoke water treatment solutions to multiple industries- covering product design, system design, installation and service and maintenance. They manufacture their own equipment and work with some key players within a variety of sectors - including industrial processing plants and more.

In this role - you will be working closely with the projects teams to ensure clients are receiving tailored and bespoke solutions to their water treatment needs. You will be working on the full project lifecycle on a variety of incredibly interesting jobs, while being trained to design specific systems within the water industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a design engineer with AutoCAD / SolidWorks experience looking to receive training into a futureproof industry. You will be looking to become a specialist within water treatment systems within a company who are committed to employee development - receiving bonuses and career development in return.

The Role:

  • Water treatment system design - using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Collaboration with projects team and design engineers to ensure smooth client communication.
  • Working on full project life cycle.
  • Training into their products, as well as industry specific system design.
  • Office based role - 08:30 - 17:30.

The Person:

  • Design engineer experience.
  • Experience in AutoCAD and / or SolidWorks.
  • Experience in system / process design, rather than product design.
  • Looking to receive training into the water treatment industry.
