We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. If you have a passion for design innovation and want to workon mechanical projects for global customers, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform design work on customer and development projects.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional design team to deliver coordinated solutions.
  • Attend project meetings and provide expert advice on mechanical design and technical aspects.
  • Take ownership of mechanical design from concept through to assembly, ensuring it meets both functional and cost targets.
  • Provide technical support to assembly and commissioning teams.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and European safety legislation, including conducting risk assessments.
  • Travel occasionally for UK and international project meetings.

Experience Required:

  • 5-10 years experience in electro-mechanical design.
  • Proficiency in 3D modelling (SolidWorks) and 2D drawings.
  • Experience in design for manufacturing, meeting cost objectives, and performing engineering calculations.
  • Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Integrated)
