Founded in 2007, this company is a dynamic and growing civil and structural engineering consultancy specialising in residential, office, public sector, and commercial projects. They are a close-knit team of engineers, who are looking for the right candidate to come onboard to support their growing work load.

Structural Engineer Salary & Benefits

  • Salary £28,000 - £38,000, depending on experience

Structural Engineer Job Overview

  • Liaising with the whole project team internally and with clients
  • Project management, with increasing responsibility for costs and budget
  • Site visits
  • Structural surveying and report writing
  • Engage in a broad range of projects, from single-dwelling residential builds to large-scale commercial developments.
  • Flexibility with start and finish times, around the core working hours of Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm, and some hybrid working is possible.
  • Employed on a permanent contract, working 37.5 hours per week.

Structural Engineer Job Requirements

  • MSc in structural / civil engineering plus between 2 and 4 years relevant post-graduate work experience
  • A goal of achieving Chartership
  • A knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and load bearing masonry structures
  • Experience with relevant computer software, preferably BIM/Revit capability and 3D modelling experience
  • Ability to design to the Eurocodes
  • Faade engineering knowledge
