Job Summary

We are seeking a Structural Mass Properties Engineer with expertise in weight analysis and management for aerospace components. The role involves optimizing mass properties and contributing to design and production processes to achieve efficient and effective solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is preferred.
* A minimum of 4-8 years of professional experience in mass properties analysis, weight optimization, design collaboration, and related fields.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide detailed calculations of mass properties, including weight, center of gravity, and inertia, for components and assemblies.
* Set and track weight targets at the detailed part and assembly levels while identifying risks and opportunities.
* Perform actual measurements of weight and balance for components and assemblies to ensure compliance with targets.
* Support design reviews and weight optimization efforts throughout the design and manufacturing process.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to challenge and optimize designs for improved weight efficiency.

* Experience in working with structural components and engineering bills of materials (BOM).
