Are you a Project Engineer with experience working on fibre optic offshore/subsea cabling? Are you looking for an immediately available contract role Outside IR35?

Due to winning new projects, my client requires a Senior Technical Project Engineer to join their team and a long-term contract basis.

This company are pioneers and market leaders in their unique field, they specialise in important marine and subsea projects. Due to a significant growth phase and a number of huge new contracts they are looking to employ a Project engineer to support the team and ensure projects are completed safely, effectively, on time and to budget.

This is a varied, senior role where you will be required offshore up to 6 weeks a year. You will plan, manage and execute large scale subsea installation and maintenance projects with the support of a team of expert engineers, ensuring they adhere to strict safety and legislation standards while completing all associated documentation.

This is a highly technical role with a mix of hands on and hands off work, candidates must have a strong background in project engineering or management and have experience working on offshore/subsea engineering and fibre optic cabling projects. Applicants can be based anywhere in the UK however must be prepared to travel and be offshore up to 6 weeks of the year.


The role:

  • Project engineer (Subsea cabling)
  • Leading engineering activities on large scale, offshore installation projects
  • Liaising with all teams to ensure completion is safe, efficient and on time
  • UK wide - remote, up to 6 weeks offshore per year

The candidate:

  • Project Manager/ Engineer
  • Background in subsea/offshore cabling installations and maintenance
  • Willing to be offshore for up to 6 weeks of the year
