Unify are thrilled to be recruiting for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join an established Plant Hire company based in Bristol.
As the Mobile Fitter/Mechanic you will be tasked with repair, service, and inspect plant and equipment. This role involves working on machinery ranging from excavators, dumpers, and telehandlers from leading manufacturers.
What do I need?
- Proven experience with machinery like excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, and rollers.
- Strong understanding of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Recognized qualification in plant maintenance and repair.
- Full UK driving license
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair equipment faults in line with manufacturer guidelines to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine servicing of equipment as per manufacturer recommendations.
The following is desirable:
- Training with relevant manufacturers (preferred).

Monday to Friday generally, overtime available evenings and weekends, with occasional overnight stays.
