Your new role

  • Completing reconciliations for bank accounts in multiple currencies.
  • Posting bank transactions and journals.
  • Scanning and processing purchase ledger invoices onto accounting software.
  • Aiding the purchase ledger team by requesting copy invoices.
  • Reconciling statements received from associates and suppliers.
  • Managing accounts email inbox and distributing accounts post.
  • Sending out sales ledger copy invoices per client requests.
  • Providing ad-hoc administrative support to the Accounts team as required.
  • Any other duties where necessary to ensure the needs of the business are met.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs including a Level 5 or above (equivalent to grade C or above) in Mathematics and English.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and pride in work product.
  • Ability to balance and prioritise workload, remain composed and level-headed during periods of particularly busy activity, and being proactive in helping other members ofthe team.
  • Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels of internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to work individually and as a team.
