Job Description:
- Actively participate in the design, execution and analysis of chemistry experiments and research projects.
- Drive the development of new chemical compounds, materials, and processes in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Supervise and mentor laboratory staff, providing guidance on experimental techniques, data analysis, and project management.
Contribute to the management of laboratory resources, including equipment, supplies and facilities, to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Maintain compliance with laboratory safety protocols, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Oversee multiple research projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and quality standards.
Prepare and present project updates, technical reports and research findings to senior management and stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize laboratory processes, enhance research methodologies, and streamline workflow.
What we believe will set you up for success:
- You hold a Ph.D in Chemistry or a related field.
Significant experience(5+ years) in scientific research and development, with proven track record of running projects in a laboratory setting.
Expertise in experimental design, chemical synthesis and analytical techniques.
Excellent project management abilities, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to present complex scientific concepts to divers audiences.
Relevant certification in laboratory safety and management (preferred).
Creative problem-solving abilities and passion for scientific discovery.
Meticulous attention to detail in experimental design, data analysis and documentation.
Team-orientated with a collaborative mindset and a strong commitment to teamwork and knowledge sharing.
