An accountancy practice based in Clifton is currently recruiting a Bookkeeper to join their team.

Working for a business that has just celebrated its 10-year anniversary, this is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to further their career within this field. This role offers 1 day per week from home and the Christmas period off in addition to standard holiday allowance.

Duties will include:

  • Reconciliations of balance sheet items on a monthly basis
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Preparation of CIS returns
  • Reconciling the bank using Xero software
  • Liaising with clients to obtain correct invoices to carry out bookkeeping
  • Dealing with payroll queries and liaising with HMRC

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in an accounts department, ideally using Xero. Payroll experience is also essential.
