Job Title: Production Worker
Location: Avonmouth, Bristol, BS11
Job Type: Full-time- 40 hours per week
Contract Type: Temporary 2-4 weeks (could be extended)
Hours: Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Production Worker to join our food manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling products, and ensuring quality control in a fast-paced production environment. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor food processing equipment according to company standards.
Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals.
Inspect products for quality and consistency, reporting any defects.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the production area.
Follow food safety regulations and company policies to ensure compliance.
Package and label products accurately.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to optimise production processes.
Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and procedures to prevent injuries.
Qualifications & Skills:
GCSE Level education or equivalent preferred - Basic math and reading skills to follow instructions and measure ingredients.
Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines is an advantage.
