Gi Group are currently recruiting a Production Operative to join our well established client in Almondsbury.

Hourly Rate - 15.43 per hour
Hours of work - 5on/5off (6am to 6pm) days only - no nights - two weekends off per month
Location - Almondsbury, Bristol
Reporting to - Production Manager
Type of Contract - Temporary - opportunity for permanent contract

Key responsibilities of a Production Operative:

Hands on Cleaning of machinery and plant
Operation of mobile plant as required
Adhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systems
To deliver through the process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement
Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S's housekeeping and environmental management
Assist in the development of SSOP's and Risk Assessments
Multi-functional operation, possibly cross departmental.
Localised Environmental and Quality Responsibilities and health and safety procedures.

Skills required as a Production Operative
Ability to rotor and prioritise your own workload
Excellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibility
Self-motivated
Excellent communication skills.
High degree of Health & Safety awareness
Ability to work as part of a team or on your own
Ability to learn to operate key manufacturing and mobile plant
Willingness to undergo further training and development
