Business Analyst (Test Specialist)

Our client, a well-established life and pensions company is currently open for a great opportunity for the right candidate to take the reins as a Business Analyst/Test Specialist. This role will be best suited for the candidate with a high degree of knowledge in the pension industry and has experience working with data migrations or testing.

The role is based in Bristol, and will be on a hybrid working pattern - with the usual split being 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

You'll be:

  • Writing test scripts that are completed to quality, productivity and time line targets across a range of programmes
  • Managing and testing the critical and complex areas requiring senior attention
  • Defects are managed to resolution including definition of solution amendments and that requirement and solution gaps are resolved with the buy in of all stakeholders
  • Dependencies are managed - both internal and external and both in terms of business and technology
  • Actively input into BAT team management across all programmes

Key Skills

  • Excellent working knowledge the Life and Pension industry
  • Understanding of the project life cycle, ideally in migrations
  • Experience or exposure to testing in a previous role
  • Strong communication skills, as will be working with internal and external stakeholders due to the nature of the role
