Data Management Consultant (SC Cleared)

About the Role:

Our client, a leading organisation in the defence sector, is seeking a skilled Data Management Consultant to join their team on a 6-month contract. As a key member of their team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management and governance of their critical data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data management policies, standards, and procedures
  • Conduct data audits and assessments to identify and address data quality issues
  • Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability
  • Support data migration and integration activities
  • Design and implement data retention and archival policies
  • Provide guidance on data security and privacy best practices
  • Identify and mitigate data risks and vulnerabilities

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Active SC clearance is essential
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and methodologies
  • Experience in data governance and data quality management
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Inside IR35
  • Daily rate: 500 - 550 per day
