About the Role:
Our client, a leading organisation in the defence sector, is seeking a skilled Data Management Consultant to join their team on a 6-month contract. As a key member of their team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management and governance of their critical data assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data management policies, standards, and procedures
- Conduct data audits and assessments to identify and address data quality issues
- Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability
- Support data migration and integration activities
- Design and implement data retention and archival policies
- Provide guidance on data security and privacy best practices
- Identify and mitigate data risks and vulnerabilities
Required Skills and Experience:
- Active SC clearance is essential
- Strong understanding of data management principles and methodologies
- Experience in data governance and data quality management
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and industry standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Contract Details:
- Inside IR35
- Daily rate: 500 - 550 per day
- Contract duration: 6 months
- Regular travel to a site in the Bristol area
