Unit4 Consultant, London, £55,000

Reports To: Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Unit4 Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expertise and support to clients in implementing, configuring, and optimizing Unit4 ERP solutions. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their business requirements, map them to the Unit4 system, and ensure a seamless delivery of services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Unit4 solutions and a passion for delivering excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultation & Implementation:
    • Lead and manage Unit4 ERP implementations, upgrades, and configuration projects.
    • Analyze business processes and work with clients to design tailored solutions in Unit4 ERP.
    • Gather and document detailed client requirements for Unit4 system setups and customizations.
    • Configure Unit4 ERP modules (e.g., Financials, HR, Procurement, or Projects) to meet client specifications.
    • Provide best practice recommendations to optimize client workflows within Unit4.
  • Support & Troubleshooting:
    • Provide ongoing support to clients, troubleshooting and resolving technical and functional issues related to Unit4.
    • Deliver post-implementation support, including system maintenance, upgrades, and ensuring the client's system is running optimally.
  • Training & Documentation:
    • Develop and deliver end-user training and ensure the client's team can effectively utilize Unit4 solutions.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, process flows, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other consultants, project managers, and business analysts to ensure successful delivery of projects.
    • Act as a liaison between clients and technical teams to ensure client expectations are managed and met.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay up-to-date with new Unit4 product features, updates, and industry trends.
    • Recommend improvements and enhancements based on client needs and the evolving capabilities of Unit4 solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proven experience as a Unit4 ERP Consultant with a focus on modules such as Finance, HR, Procurement, or Projects.
    • Strong understanding of Unit4 architecture and configuration.
    • Experience with Unit4 Business World or Unit4 Financials.
    • Proficient in SQL for reporting and database queries.
    • Familiarity with Unit4 Cloud solutions is a plus.
  • Functional Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of business processes in the following areas: Finance, HR, Project Management, Procurement, etc.
    • Ability to translate complex business requirements into system specifications.
  • Project Management:
    • Experience managing or contributing to full ERP project lifecycles, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
    • Strong ability to manage time, resources, and deadlines effectively.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong client-facing skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Certifications (optional but desirable):
    • Unit4 ERP certification.
    • Project management certifications such as PMP or Prince2.
