Delivering the highest standards of water hygiene risk assessments, written schemes of control, water sampling and remedial work, asbestos surveys, analysis, project management and removal to Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Government Departments, The NHS, Major Constructions Companies and many other sectors.

Description

The job will require you to work closely with the Business Development Manager & Directors to identify, develop and secure new and existing business opportunities within the Water Hygiene, Asbestos Surveying and Analytical industry.

As a Business Development Assistant you will be responsible for assisting in the growth of our business by identifying new clients and new opportunities with existing clients. You will also be responsible for prospecting new, potential clients by utilising the companies CRM system to manage data.

Profile

  • Extensive knowledge ofCRM systems, ideally Workbooks and has experience completing the following:
    • Able to add organisations and individuals to CRM systems competently
    • Able to categorise people/organisations on CRM systems
    • Establish processes to follow-up leads
    • Able to set up and run reports on CRM systems
    • Able to set up and run campaigns on CRM systems, and manage these campaigns - first, second and third emails as well as phone calls - and recording these on the CRM system
    • Able to analyse the success of specific campaigns and feedback to senior management
    • Knowledge/experience of integration of CRM systems with other software systems
  • Confident in prospecting for new potential clients using all resources available - websites, social media etc
  • Extensive experience successfully engaging with people in a professional capacity on social media.
  • Confident and experienced engaging with prospects on the phone particularly during cold call situations
  • Outside the box thinker and good at identifying potential new clients
  • Able to liaise with Branch Managers and other senior members of the team to strategically plan new campaigns
  • Confident using all Microsoft systems, especially Excel
  • Able to analyse data and learn from/adapt our techniques depending on the trends shown
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills - both written and verbal
  • Able to build a rapport with people from all walks of life and different industry sectors
  • Has excellent attention to detail and will leave no stone unturned
  • Able to see an opportunity - if not for asbestos then maybe for legionella or training etc
  • Quick learner and able to work on their own initiative
