Our client is a Bristol-based consultancy specializing in sustainability solutions for the built environment. With over 15 years of being established in the industry, they help their clients navigate the complexities of environmental legislation and achieve green certifications, such as BREEAM, HQM, and SKA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business growth strategy to target developers, construction companies, and architects
  • Leverage your existing relationships and active client base to secure new business
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, working closely with senior management to align with company goals
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, including BREEAM, RIBA stages, and other relevant frameworks
  • Lead on client presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations
  • Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the company and build new connections

The ideal Business Development Manager will:

  • Have proven experience in business development or account management within the built environment sector
  • Have knowledge of BREEAM standards, RIBA stages, and sustainability practices within construction
  • Have strong communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on relationship management
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Be willing to work from their Bristol office 2 days a week and flexibility to travel for client meetings
