Description

Leading Commercial UK Retailer require a Business Intelligence Manager to lead cross-disciplined analytics teams to enhance Commercial, Operational and Customer Insight to support senior management in their continued growth strategy. You will work with the broader business to evaluate and access new Technology and Data capabilities to support new product and revenue stream opportunities, driving efficiencies and reducing cost.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver insightful analysis and reporting to support divisional strategy and key stakeholder objectives to improve performance and engagement
  • Work across a variety of internal functions including Customer Services, Operations, Finance and IT, and externally with strategic partners, commercial customers to understand data ecosystem and maximise data quality and analytics
  • Ensure the Insight and Analytics teams provide robust, reliable business reporting, analysis and insight in a user friendly format, evolving self-serve capabilities of Dashboards / Visualisation where possible.
  • Lead transformation and absorption of data (internal and external) to enhance reporting/insights for the business
  • Lead on delivering enhanced quality and accuracy of financial reporting outputs to ensure revenue from customers and commercial clients is controlled more effectively
  • Increase awareness within the customer services division of key trends and make recommendations on action that can be taken to improve performance
  • Responsible for the accurate management and retrieval of customer, commercial clients & third party data
  • Effectively manage the performance and culture of the team
  • Ensure business partnering is delivered with demonstrative value & decision making

Key Skills / Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in Business Intelligence / Management Information Team Management with proven leadership ability across multiple teams in complex environments
  • Ability to proactively engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and manage expectations.
  • Proven ability to drive positive change and manage change effectively.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business understanding
  • Vision and Innovative approach to business intelligence / management information reporting to increase awareness and engagement
  • Experience of engaging and communicating with Senior Management & Executives
  • Experience of being part of transformation projects and initiatives
  • Experience of using visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar
  • Leadership of a Business Intelligence / Management Information team

Profile

  • Demonstrable experience in Business Intelligence / Management Information Team Management with proven leadership ability across multiple teams in complex environments
