Bristol Future Talent Partnership is a collaboration initiative committed to making Bristol the fairest and most racially equal place in the UK. Recognising the disproportionate challenges faced by Black and minority ethnic communities in education and employment, the Partnership works to remove barriers and raise aspirations.

Focusing on young people aged 14 to 21, Bristol Future Talent Partnership provides opportunities to explore diverse career paths and develop essential skills. Through high-quality work experience placements, career workshops, and networking events, they equip young people with the tools to succeed.

Partnering with leading organisations creates a platform for intergenerational learning and growth. This provides young people with valuable experience and brings fresh perspectives and diverse talent to partner organisations. The Partnership's mission is to eliminate the systemic inequalities and underrepresentation that have affected Black and minority ethnic communities in Bristol.

The organisation is seeking an Operations Manager to further advance its mission and expand its reach.

As Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of Bristol Future Talent Partnership, ensuring the successful implementation of high-quality work experience placements. You will cultivate strong partnerships with Bristol-based organisations and educational institutions while maintaining existing stakeholder relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with schools and colleges to identify students for work experience placements and supporting teachers and career advisors in preparing students for these opportunities.

- Generating income through grant applications and managing the organisation's budget, including financial reporting.

- Ensuring risk management and safeguarding protocols are adhered to throughout all activities.

- Monitoring and reporting on the organisation's performance.

Bristol Future Talent Partnership is looking for highly motivated and driven individuals, who can use initiative to shape the future of the organisation. The successful candidate will be a champion of continuous improvement, with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. They will have a proven track record of developing working relationships and responding proactively to emerging challenges and opportunities. The ideal candidate would also have experience in financial management, grant applications and safeguarding.

If you’re passionate about tackling inequality and making a real difference in the lives of young people, we’d love to hear from you.
